Well, it is pretty ambitious what MS are doing. A virtual simultaneous launch on three continents has not been done before has it?
Reading the links it suggests MS have enough consoles but can not ship them fast enough. But I would believe they have a very finite number of consoles ready for launch and the vast majority will be ready for sale. Of course, how many? (I've decided to wait 'til the new year at the earliest to get a 360).
So what will people do if they can't get one straight away at launch? What if PGR3 does'nt make it 'til the New Year? What about the admission that some 360 games will seem a little unfinished or at least a little rough? An obvious result of first time work on a new cosole or the result of not enough time for proper development due to MS selling the 360 so early?
And worst case scenario what if there is a mere dribble of consoles available and lots of people go without? Will it hurt MS? Speculations anyone?
