A thread has been deleted from the Sport and Fitness forum. It was started by 1Mic and we were discussing calories.

I think it was entitled '400 calories a day' or something similar. It is active and has been posted in every day for the last week or so...

if anyone sees it or knows where it is i would be grateful to know.

Definitely been deleted, rather then moved.

He was asking about how to close thread in the Test Forum a week ago, so maybe he requested it be "Eliminated".

Bear with me, I'll have a look...

OK. I've looked in the Recycle Bin, and in the S&F forum, and there's nothing there. I searched all posts by 1mic for the letters "cal", and the number "400", and returned no results corresponding to the thread under discussion. I did the same thing for user TurboSmoke, and also returned no results.

So, it would seem that the thread has either been actively deleted, or the database has lost it.

It would have to have been deleted by a moderator, and mods don't delete threads, they "move without redirect" to the Recycle Bin. Of course, there's a slim chance that a mod could have deleted it by accident.

Fundamentally, that thread is not in a position within GTP where I can get to it.

This is very mysterious...I cannot find the thread either and I know I did not delete it. TurboSmoke or anyone else who posted in the thread: do you have any of the email notifications sent to you from the thread? They would contain a link to the thread which would show the threadid...from there I would be able to track it down in the actual database.

Thanks Giles and Jordan for having a search for me...i dont have a link to it but its fine, its only a thread....:) i was just curious..

thanks guys.

I don't think that would be the one Jpec, Turbo said that the thread in question was started by 1mic, and 1mic hasn't even posted in the thread your thinking of...

Nah Jpec,

the one in question was about 1mic trying to loose 400 calories a day using his heart rate monitor and an exercise bike...i use a HRM every time i train and was giving him my experiences....the carb thread was about something else....and i agree, it is in the wrong forum.
