Quick question. If I took a G27 shifter and took it apart, and took the button panel and mounted that in a custom box, could I use that as a button box? I think it would look cool.

edit: I guess it will work. this was done by one of your forum members. Looks like he just used the panel and the electronics inside.

It is pretty easy/ just as easy to buy a cheap wired controller and solder onto that. you get more buttons/more customization that way. I just finished mine, check it out here!

Toggle Switch : Just do a search on ebay you should find it easily and missile switch if you want to disconnect every button with 1 switch

in addition you need some hot glue, solder and a lot of patience:tup:

In the first iteration of your setup how did you wire in the master toggle switch to cut power to the PCB inside the box? Does this require cutting into the USB cable and wiring the power lead to the switch?

Second question is can you turn on your PS3 from the PS button wired to the Cthulhu board?

Hi , The previous master toggle function as a disabler for all button, the way i wired it is not splicing the usb, but since the cthulu have 4 ground points, i ended up only using one and unite them together and BEFORE CONNECTING TO CHTULU, you connect the wire to the master switch and from master switch to the cthulu.
There fore if the master switch is switch off, all grounds are not connected hence, no button, toggles will function.
THIS however only work for one controller at a time, ie cthulu only, if you want to do one for the sli pro side of the buttons, you need another toggle switch as they are different pcb.

Question number 2, no wired PS3 controller CAN turn on ps3, not even a DS3 wired via usb can turn on a PS3.
