If I delete the account I used when I first received my Chromeline cars will I not be able to receive them on any new accounts? I have been holding onto my original PSN I made when I repurchased a PS3 and GT5 incase I lost these rare cars but i'm starting to care less and less but would like to know, because I cannot remember if these were redeemed through a code or just from the disc itself.

Any help greatly appreciated.👍

I believe since they were download to the system itself, all DLC will be kept if you choose to start a new account and delete the old one.

I can vouch for this, every time I started a new account I got the cars, though to be fair I didn't actually delete any of the old ones.

Anyone actually know if they are linked to the original account?

Awesomeness, guess that old unused account can kiss itself goodbye then, hooray for free space!

Cheers Rob.

Welcome, mate.:) I'd suggest making the new one before deleting the old one though.👍

If you delete the account the Chromeline cars were redeemed on you will not be able to use those cars again, on any account until you reinstate that account. Try if you wish, but I am 99.9% certain.

That's what I was thinking, they were locked to one account. I've never tried it (deleting original account) so don't quote me on this one.

Also, you don't gain much free space when you delete an account, a few mega bytes or so. I don't think it's worth it, plus if you keep it, you can send stuff to your new account!

Deleting an original account where you received DLC at first? Never heard of such a bad idea before. Seriously... Delete some pictures (if you have). Or delete game saves of games you`ll never play (and if so, you can re-install them surely).

My advice: Keep your original account.

Do not delete the account you downloaded the chromelines with, You will lose them if you do, on all the other accounts.

Hmmm, conflicting responses, I think I will wait for someone who has actually done it to reply first. Bit scary losing those 500cr rebuild cars for the sake of removing an old account, I have plenty of free space, just running out of accounts between my few and siblings, then a couple of IRL friends accounts also on my PS3.

Why not just make a new account without deleting your main? I have three(my main,0/0/0 and one for my friends to mess about with).:)

Ah,okay,I knew it was one or the other mate, but I got them automatically every time I made a new PSN account/game save on GT5.

I have another (confirmed) answer. If you install your "Chromeline DLC account" onto another PS3 system you`ll find the cars in the garage of every other GT5 account on this 2nd system. If you delete you "Chromeline DLC account" on 2nd system the cars disappear as well... Got it?

I have done it, that's why I replied. I only said I was 99.9% certain as it was over a year ago when I did it, if you delete the account you will get some error message when loading about ownership, or license that is missing, or something to that effect.

I have done it and lost all stealths and chromelines only getting them back by putting the account back on and going to downloads and re-downloading them. If you do delete your acc save the details then load game in other acc and look at the question marks over the said cars in your garage. But remember make sure you have all details to be able to put that acc back on or all is lost forever.
