I'm on an iPad with the latest version of GTP and it is not letting me delete my messengers, well I can't find the delete button, some help please. Oh and when I press the help screen under options nothing shows up...

Edit: Half a minute later and I figure out how... Requesting close/lock

I'm on a desktop and even then I always have to ask a mod to delete a (my) post.

click on the yellow triangle at the bottom on your right hand side. Click on it and ask for the post to be removed.

To answer this question for those of you who may find it later, the app uses the standard deletion gesture in iOS: just swipe your finger from left to right over the message you want to remove, then tap the delete button.

Isn't it possible to implement a feature in the thread tools so members can delete a message when they, by accident, double posted?
It's easier that way, instead of always having to report your own post to the mods, super or not.

Can you imagine what threads looks likes after members goes and deletes all stupid posts...

Full of double, triple even quatro posts
Just my thoughts about that :)

Users will never have the ability to delete their own posts. Nothing good will come from that. Someone could go in to a thread, raise hell then delete the offending post.

No thanks.

That works for smaller communities where everyone trusts each other, but GTP unfortunately has way too many people.
