Well the budget is currently underway and one of the things to go is the tax relief to uk independent game delevopers , could this mean lower game numbers and more companies going.

do you think we see less games for pc , psp , PS3 , x360 , DS and Wii or will it not change

I think it will change developer's attitude to games. Look at Dirt 2 by Codemasters. Everybody was looking forward to it, and on release it may have done well initially, and garnered favourable reviews, but word soon spread about how it just wasn't what people wanted from a McRae game and many gamers slated it for it's arcadey handling and OTT Americanized vibe. Bottom line, you want to sell loads of copies of your game, make shed loads off money, and still keep the respect? MAKE THE GAMES THAT PEOPLE WANT TO PLAY, not what YOU want or what you THINK they want.
