So from out of the blue i decided to make a design for a website of mine. Right now the actual site is down, but i plan on picking it back up shortly!

What do you guys think of the following design?

Let me know what you think, or if theres anything that seems out of place!

I don't care for the crossed words in the back ground but other then that it looks good. I really like the picture of your car in the banner.

Everything looks fine but maybe it could have a bit more 3D-ness to it, like maybe shading from white to grey horizontally out on each side from the red centre to lift it off the page.

White text with red might look slightly better in my opinion.

The curves and sweeps are great especially at the top round the name and picture :) You maybe could give the curve round the site name a wider margin because it seems really close to the text.

Robin.

Well, as far as the 3d-ness, the cross text is for copy protection ONLY. Its only in the picture.. Later after the site is developed that text wont be there. I'm not really digging the logo text though, so i might redo it and try for something else.

You cant really see, but at the top of the text area (the main one) there is a small gradient that fades from the lighter red to the darker red. But the watermark thing takes away from it and you cant really see it.

I might be looking for some help to get this into CSS later, so keep an eye on this post for me haha.

So i added a few touches to the layout, and modified the logo a bit, and then i went and programmed it into an actual html page using CSS. Only thing is, i tlooks great in firefox, but internet explorer is a different story.. Damn differences in browsers.

If anyone would be willing to help me with cross browser compatibility that would be great.. lol
