Design/Vinyl help.

So I got a message from someone asking me how much for my "black/red" Viper 'paint' unlocked. I've never had to unlock my designs/vinyls for anyone, so I'm particularly stumped here. :|

How does one unlock a design or vinyl group? Does it require hacking of any sorts? Does it make me liable for a ban of sorts? This is sort of a new issue for me. :indifferent:

Edit: Ran a google search. Ugh, I'm not certain if I want to go through the trouble of unlocking my own design.
 
If you were to gift him the design, it would then be unlocked at his end and he would be free to do with it as he please's. Noting wrong in that.
 
I've been offered a few million credits for some of my GT designs unlocked, but in the end, I decided against it, because I'd hate to see them in the storefront, with someone else benefiting. Keep that in mind if you decide to gift him the design :)
 
Hmm yes when there public domain it's out of your hands.

I've shared logos vinyl's etc, but with good people I trust. Ive received some too but never exploited it.

Just be careful giving out to strangers.
