Since running the XBow Special event with those pesky hairpins I've had odd FFB behaviour. I know the exact moment as I had to really fight the wheel from one hairpin to the next and the ffb suddenly gave way akin to a component break. Since then, sometimes the ffb just stops and the wheel feels like it has no power going to it and drives like an 80s arcade machine.
The strange thing is that the behaviour is erratic, it will be basically fine for hours of racing, then it will go off and be off for a whole race barring the odd kick of ffb here and there, then back on for the next race.
I checked the power in connection which is a little loose, and the power socket is fine. During driving when the ffb stops I've tried adjusting the connection but it doesn't prompt the ffb to return or even kick. I took the cover off and other than the power in housing being a little loose I saw no wires fraying or swaying. I couldn't work out what actually gives the feedback though, is there a physical mechanism that could be damaged and cause the erratic ffb?
