DFGT and compatabilty with older games (GT3/GT4)

Hi,

I've managed to track down a DFGT, but before I buy, I'm curious is this will work with games prior to GT5P?

Will it work? Might it work? Someone must know.

It does work with GT3. However, the stick and paddle shifters don't work on the game. You'll have to use the R3 and L3 buttons on the wheel to shift.

You can change the settings on the buttons so you CAN use the paddles. I tried it the other day on 3 and 4 and got it to work on both.
 
It works with GT3 and GT4, but it doesn't work as well with GT3 as the DFP did because the DFGT does not have the manual lock that the DFP had. That being said, it still works pretty good.

Sorry about that.

Wheels have been like rocking horse doodar in the UK. So to find one in stock, I have to pounce quickly.

Just needed confirmation it was going to work in gt4 really. Gt3 is a bonus as I missed out on that, so I'm going to play once I'm done with gt5.
 
I just tried playing gt3 on a ps2 with the dfgt and cannot get it to work(probably because it doesn't), the gas and brake don't function as they should, not even close. It is strange because you can calibrate them just as you can the wheel and everything seems fine.The little bar starts at 0 and goes up to max for both as you press pedals. I tried every which way of pluging in controllers, unplugging controllers, all that, both usb ports etc etc etc.

I can play gt4 on the same ps2 with the same dfgt though, I've done that several times.

I wonder if it's because I'm using a slim but I seriously doubt it.
