Thinking about making a purchase for the DFGT but I have Driving Force Pro and was after the benefit of the realtime adjustment dial. I wanted opinions from others who have used it, on;

1 - Does the realtime adjustment dial work for
• TCS (Traction Control System)
• 4WD Tq Bias (front/rear drive torque bias – four wheel drive vehicles only)
• ASM (Automatic Stability Management)
• ABS (Anti-lock Brake System)
• Brk F (Front brake force)
• Brk R (Rear brake force)
2 - Is it worth spending the extra for these functions?

Thanks in advance

I can't seem to tell by memory if you can adjust the ASM, as it is something that I would rarely do, but you can do all of those.

The RAD is supposed to work for all those things, but it seems that some people are expereincing issues with TCS and ASM. After joining an online lobby where these aids are disabled, these functions will be greyed and not be adjustable in all modes. It is the games fault and a problem that did not exist before. I assume that they will patch this soon, as many people have ran into this issue. Just informing you of the situation so you don't freak out if it happens to you.

But, yah, the RAD function is quite useful for adjusting TCS and other stuff on the fly. I use it all the time. The addition of a PS button and a horn button is also nice. From what I hear, the feedback is supposed to be quite an improvement as well, coming closer to the G25 in terms of performance.

Yeah mine does all them options. I love having the ability to adjust on a fly and do often mid race. Usually as the tires wear down I'll turn the traction control up a bit. That's about the only one I adjust, the others are usually set at zero assistance.

yes worth it, some times you may forget or want to change those settings after you started a race
it also help setting up cars in single races as most of the ra setting stay adjusted if you restart the race, saving you going through a couple of reload screens
longer stints you might want to increase traction control if you got a mental car and it eats its rubber before you want to make a stop

its not 100% nessecery but it adds to the experiance, hell most real race cars have that and much more

we could have done with pit options on the ra as well

i'm thinking of getting a second gtdf and putting the wheel on my real car for a grin........
