hi everybody.

i was searching around and it seems that you can`t lower the 900 degrees of dfgt at gt5.

the wheel supports it at pc games so i guess it`s a gt5 fault.

it`s very realistic at racing cars to turn the wheel so much.

what would you guys think if we all sent emails at PD to ask them

include it at a future update?

Never needed too. I use the wheel on other games with less and I wish they supported 900.

Also, not a fault. It's a choice. Their game, their wheel, their choice.

Personally I have never needed to turn the wheel that far, but, I would prefer it to be 180 like F1 cars, that'd be mint. On the other hand, I have never needed to turn the wheel that much so.........

You mean 360, surely? A lot of people seem to have the impression 180 total is all they have in F1, yet you can clearly see 200 degrees left lock into the Monaco hairpin for instance (so that would be about 400 total).

I think it feels really weird when 90 degrees to either side is all you get... but race cars don't really need 450 per side like road cars have, either.

The only time it would be nice to have less rotation is for drifting. For racing you should never really need to use more than half a turn in either direction... if you need more you're pushing the front end too much and getting understeer.

i never needed it until i played a lot with red bull.

i guess they have fix it because turn the wheel very little is turning a lot.

after i went back to an f1 car i realised the difference.

for drifting it would be nice too.

Where do they use less than 900 for drift?

I didn't say they did... only that drifting would be easier with less rotation.

Easier but less fun.
For you maybe. I have to unplug the wheel and use the controller to drift. I don't have the time or patience to learn to drift with my G27. All of my extra time is now going to the maintenance of two accounts.

I would love to see a degree adjustment for the wheels. Not only would it help with drifting but it would help me get out of trouble because I tend to be an aggressive driver.

It is hard to learn but I'm starting to get the hang of it after 7week. Just keep at it don't go back to your ds3 and before you know it you will be linking the corners like a pro:).
