I just bought a DFGT to use on GT5 (I used to use a DS3) today and im encountering a couple of problems

I keep finding myself going off the track and the wheel moving by itself. E.g. Im going down a straight and it just wants to keep juddering by itself.

I've turned traction control back on as well as driving line, but i'm finding it doesn't want to move to it.

Is there any settings to change, like sensitivity, if so, what do you think is the best one to use?

Just ignore what the wheel wants to do and make it do what you want to do, if you want to go straight then just hold the wheel straight. It takes a little getting used to, but not a lot.

Yeah, practice makes perfect, don't let the wheel tell you what to do (lol), don't be afraid to turn against the feedback, it won't break, and if it, by some unlikely phenomenon, does break, logitech will give you a new one I'll bet.

If you still have trouble holding the wheel straight then try to hold the wheel a little off center either left or right. Notice Gt5 ffb is linked to the G-force counter. The faster the G-force meter changes the harder the wheel will jerk back and forth. The faster the car and better the traction the more the wheel will fight you down the straight. Thus X1 will be the worst.

Unplug the power cord and you should be fine :D

driving line is there for you to drive on. it won;t steer the car for you.

hold the wheel sturdily and don't "let" is turn by itself.
remember there are bumps and lumps in the road that the suspension will react to and feed back trough the wheel (just like real cars)
also the slope of the road to one side of the track or the other will make the car move around.

drive the car, don;t let it drive you
