no thank you.
I recently bought a DFGT (Should've gotten the g27:grumpy:) to replace my MOMO wheel (Black) and theres a couple of things I HATE about it. I actually still use my MOMO for Gran Turismo.

1. The paddles are useless (I want paddles, not a bending piece of plastic)

2. The wheel is too thin for me (Probably more me) Has anyone ever put a different wheel on theirs? I have an extra karting wheel off a Birel I would like to put on it.

3. Seems to get alittle hot, but I guess I could just install a computer fan to help circulate air.

I was just about to start a thread about this. I would like to add a couple of items people can help me find.
1. Tape for the center of the wheel.... I see several of us have done this mod. Is this anything more than colored tape?

2. Horn button. One guy had a ferrari logo on his. I like that, I would like to get ahold of a Porsche, Ferrari or Corvette horn cover. I'm having a hard time locating one.

3. Is it possible to stiffen up the gear shift? Feels slighly flimsy.

Thanks!

Can you add a third party shifter and peddel set to the dfgt ?
If so what brands work with it ?

Could you have three different brands working together like a Logitech DFGT Wheel+Act Labs Shifter+Fanatec peddles(Club Sport or Regular) ?

Hi, are you still using the MOMO or did the DFGT grow on you over time? And how would you compare the MOMO to the DFGT in FFB, build quality etc.? Do you really like the DFGT's 900 degrees adjustable rotation?

Just to reply to a few of the replies here.

-You can get better shifter paddles from the following site http://granturgismo.com/

-The steering wheel tape is generally just colored electrical tape, usually this can be found at a Wal-Mart for like $2 for a multiple pack of colors.

-As for steering wheel horn covers, most of them are just emblems. You can find them on ebay just search for "ferrari emblem" or "bmw steering wheel logo" etc. You should be able to find something that will work for you.

can the peddles from the g25/g27 be wired onto the dfgt? having a clutch would be nice to drive and drift with.

Wow, I thought after what everybody else had said, the DFGT was a good choice, but I guess not. :(

I still think its a good choice for the price range its in. All these shortcomings are true, but I have adapted to it after some time. However, if money was no object, DFGT would not be considered.

I have successfully wired G27 pedals to my DFGT.....not the clutch of course. I reversed the pedals and was able to wire in the accelerator and brake pedal. You have to use the DFGT wiring harness. Here is a pic of the wiring labeling for the pedals....

The accelerator is on the left.

I'm looking for an implementation of a clutch pedal and an H shifter to the DFGT, for Live For Speed and pc racing sims, I saw a couple of videos on youtube and I was wondering of somone here at Gtplanet knows anything about. Thanks.
