Hi guys,

So I'm trying to hook up my DFGT to my PC to play some LFS.

I installed the Logitech Gaming Software, is that all I need? Windows detects the wheel, but only with 180 degrees of rotation and I can't use the sequential shifter in game :/

I have tried re installing the software and changing USB ports, any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Shiv

Make sure that you are using the correct steering wheel profile in the game. If you are then you need to make sure that you configure the wheel to what you want to play. Assuming the fact that you will want to play with the full 900 degrees that the wheel is capable of, then just set the wheel rotation to that much in the Logitech Gaming Software programme.

Oh sorry I forgot to mention the main problem-the Logitech Gaming Software won't detect the wheel!

Edit: The error message is: Logitech Profiler was unable to detect any game controllers.

The 'GT' LED on the wheel is lit and the wheel sort of functions in LFS.

Any other help would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks,

Shiv

Yes I made sure I had it plugged in. When I connected it to a USB slot it did the whole spinning to lock calibration thing.

Insert the CD Driver Disc that came with your wheel when you bought it.

I think I will if I can't find any solutions from their forums or this one :/ it's so disappointing, it's a great wheel and the software is letting it down.

If anybody has any suggestions for things that work please do let me know.

Did you download the latest version of the gaming software? Granted, it's almost 2 years old at this point, but it may still be more recent than what's on the disc.

BTW, you're not using Windows 8, are you? I heard it wasn't compatible, but I haven't tried it myself.

Make sure you have all the correct software and drivers installed and updated; make sure you are in a USB 2.x port (3 can be fussy); if you haven't already try a reboot; if all that fails tech support it up.

It sounds like a driver error or connection error. Good luck.

I only have USB 2.0 ports lol. Where can I get the drivers if any? All I can find is the Logitech Gaming Software on their website.

Also I am running windows 7, and I tried it with the Logitech gaming software downloaded off their website with the same lack of success.
