I've looked at tons of other threads today but no real solutions for my issue. I plug in the DFGT and calibrate the pedals, they work for a while, except it still goes 100% throttle without me pushing the gas pedal all the way down.

After a minute it begins to throttle without me touching the pedal and causes unwanted understeer in corners and madness. And if I let it go on for long enough, maybe 5 minutes, it just full throttles without me touching a thing as if it was possessed.

And If I unplug and do it all over again it repeats itself, does the same thing on ps2 with GT4 too.

EDIT: I've been using them for a month, bought them on Amazon used, but they look new almost, inside & out. they worked perfectly for a month up to today.

I had a problem similar to this and I bought mine new about a month ago. My brake pedal was showing a 10% application after I released the pedal and would only act normal when I put negative pressure on the brake. Called Logitech and they replaced everything and paid for shipping. All squared away now. I suggest calling them, if they don't replace it they will probably at least diagnose your problem and possibly send replacement parts.

I didn't buy it from logitech, but I am trying to get a replacement for the pedals from the company, but they can't do anything until Monday. I wanted to fix it myself but its looking like I can't at this point. Might have to buy pedals on ebay, wish I could buy just the pedals from logitech and get a 1 year warranty on them lol.

While I don't have a solution for you... I have a DFGT that's basically brand new and I need to sell it. You want it PM me an offer. :) I need to sell the pedals AND the wheel, not just the pedals.

I've had this problem before, since you brought a new set of pedals, I recommend taking it apart and resetting the spring so it presses against the pedal as hard as it should do.

I'm hoping this worked I took the potentiometer out so I could get in real good with the contact cleaner, and I just spurted in there from all angles and blowed in and am hoping that will fix my problem, so far after a couple minutes I have no spiking at all. I tried to take the potentiometer apart so I could see just how dirty it was but I couldn't figure it out so I just used the contact cleaner.

EDIT: Still working after 10 minutes, it only spiked once for like a couple seconds. I'm wondering if there are any demonstrations of how to take apart the type of potentiometer in the DFGT cus I think I might have to do that to get it really clean.

EDIT: Constant acceleration without me touching the pedal began but took some time this time. I'm wondering if it could be that the potentiometer is being moved when the pedal is in default position.
