DFGT problem

Hello everyone,

I want to seek help here for my DFGT. I bought this 1 year ago, and everything works fine. I used this mainly for practicing my drift in GT4. Nah.. after 3 months of practicing, I feel something's wrong with my DFGT. After countersteering a little bit hard, I hear some crack-like sound and this thing isn't working until now. The lamp on the GT logo keeps blinking whenever I turn on the wheel and the Force Feedback is still on the wheel EVEN WHEN TURNED OFF! The feedback distribution also not the same, the right is harder than the left. I don't know what causes this, so I decided to disassemble the DFGT. I don't see something wrong with the wheels, gears, motors, cable, etc. Everything looks just fine. Anyone knows what problem in my DFGT? Any help would be appreciated

No, seriously. And unless you're MacGuyver, it's not really repairable by you.

Do what I did, contact Logitech support, they are fantastic about warranty replacement. I basically BS'd and said I bought the wheel from Best Buy 9 months ago (they have a 1 year warranty), but didn't have the receipt, and Best Buy told me to contact Logitech...

So after some basic troubleshooting, boom, the guy sends me a UPS label to send the wheel back, no charge, and 2 weeks later, I get a new wheel.

So what did I do in the meantime? Went to Fry's, and bought a new DFGT. So now I have a backup wheel, and it's awesome to have friends over on split screen replay.
