DFGT steering input issues

So I have been using my DFGT in test sessions @ laguna seca, and Lanier in the legend, and I feel that I have to put more wheel in to get the angle I want until I hit 90 degrees the the Legend wheel angle passes my DFGT angle

I'm basing this off the little steering wheel icon on the bottom left. And I have DFGT turned about 5-10 degrees to the left to go straight, and recalibrating it didn't change anything

Also what are recommended FFB and Dampening settings for the wheel right now I'm at 12 FFB and 0 dampening

Do you have the logitech profiler & drivers installed? What is you steering degrees set at? I would set your steering to 900 degrees in the profiler then try to recalibrate it in iracing. You should have the wheel straight and the car going straight. On some of the oval cars depending on the setup the wheel might be a little off center, but in general it should be straight unless something is wrong with the wheel itself.

I have a dfgt for backup and last time I used it I ran 11-12 FFB & 0 dampening with the steering on 900 degrees. Have the auto center spring un checked if there is an option for it. It's been a couple months now since I've used it so I don't remember all my settings.

how do I set it for iRacing, it's set for FSX

So are you using this for GT5 or PC? If its GT5, I've hooked mine up to the PC and it behaves like a totally different device, with updated drivers, it sits dead center, won't budge a muscle, but even with it set to full resistence on GT5, its a bit sloppy at idle, seemed to sit a few degrees to the left - however, this doesn't effect it once you're driving, but I wouldn't take my hands off the wheel just to be sure that it won't go off centre.

With iRacing, so PC, anyway, where do I do updates for the dfgt? I went to Logitech's site and downloaded the profiler but I don't know how to create an iRacing profile, I somehow have one for Flight Sim x probably because of my joystick

I never created any kind of profile. I just downloaded the drivers off the logitech website and installed then. After that there was the icon for the profiler. Once I open that it had all the wheel settings like steering degrees, dampening, and etc. Make sure it's the only game controller plugged into your pc. Kinda sounds like that might be the problem, but it's hard to tell with the info you have given. It was a pretty simple process when I set mine up.
