Well, uh, you turn the wheel. Obviously. What's the exact problem you're having with sharp turns? :)

The car doesn't turn enough to complete the turn and I end up hitting the wall instead of staying on the track. I don't have this problem on regular turns though.

I'd say it depends on the game you're playing. Might be steering saturation, steering deadzone, maximum degree of turning. Could you post the name of the game and your settings?

So, give race cars a try and let us know if that's working. It might just be related to the car setup then.

is this at Monaco? Probably means your getting on gas too early in corner with lower powered cars which causes understeer. You have to wait to finish the hairpins there.

Go into the options on track where you adjust your abs, traction control, and all those aids. Turn your steering sensitivity to 7. You'll be able to drive monaco with havng to turn hard at all. The furthest around you'll ever need to turn is 270°for extremely tight hairpins.

I thought control sesitivity didnt do anything for wheels?

If theres smoke coming from the front tires your going too fast and thats understeer. If not maybe make your feedback a bit higher.I have mines set at 5-10 depending on the car.

You just need to adjust your driving style - tight hairpins can be tricky to negotiate, especially if you've recently switched from using a DS3 controller.

I seem to spin out no matter what i do.
Steering: simulation(don't think this matters for DFGT)
Power Assist: On
Force FB: 5
Traction control: 1
ABS:1
these seem to be the standard settings for GT5 but i'm just mowing the lawn on ever track :(

SIFO slow in fast out

It sounds like the car is understeering and you are pushing through the turns. Using the appropriate amount of throttle at exactly the right time can alleviate this.
