Hi all, I dunno if anyone else is sick of the tiny shifter buttons in the DFGT but I am, so I got myself some of these http://granturgismo.com/
I received then yesterday and god they are good. I have the adjustable ones and because if the long travel before the button actually clicks I have adjusted them so that button is pre pressed by the paddle just before the click, so much better!
Has anyone else got these or something like it? Do you love them as much as me?

I use them on mine. I actually modified mine a tad. I wasn't to keen on the plastic screw that pushes down the button. Took a couple of fender washers and played with the travel so that the fender washers push the button instead of the plastic screw.

Nice, never knew that thread was there! I found mine after googleing lol.

How did you do the mods? Do you have a pic? For the moment I have just put two small bits of thick paper on the screw as I got worried that the plastic would wear down pretty quick.

Hi guys, I'm trying to find an appropriate, and current, thread to post this in... last night the left downshift button on my DFGT started doing double downshifts, essentially double clicking when I press the button once.

Do you know how I might be able to fix it? Is there a guide online that shows how to take the wheel apart and try to fix it?

Thanks! :)

Sounds like a faulty switch. They are easy to damage by pressing them to hard. Adding a shifter mod like mentioned above will put more force on the switch itself and lead to premature damage as well. As for fixing/replacing it, I am sure you could do it if you can find the right match or even better replacement switch. PM Mr Basher I would bet he could tell you what kind of switch it is. Sorry for your bad luck. I went through the same ordeal as well. You can fix it or give you an excuse to upgrade to a T500 like I did.

I wouldn't have a clue, but if it was me I'd send it back for a replacement, these things come with a decent warranty :-)

I tried that but I got the wheel in 2011 so they basically told me tough luck. They didn't even offer me a discount on a replacement which I found odd, but the guy was adamant that they haven't offered discounts like that for months.
