First of all I tried to search this forum and didn't see anything on this (probably overlooked it lol) but anyways I'm looking to buy a wheel and was wondering which one is better. I am a casual player not a Hardcore one so I don't want ot spend tons. These two seemed close in price and seems pretty good for what I need them for. I want it to be good on console and pc. I have dirt 3, GT5 of course, and other racing games for PS3. I also go on PC. On PC I would use it for Shift 2, IRacing, and other ones (got my new PC for christmas so stille expanding). So what is the better overall wheel?

Edit: Also I would like to stay under $140 USD. I don't need a top of the line one either. Just something I could use and its good.

After looking into it I got this: Yes the RGT works on PS3 but is not compatible with GT5. But the older model is of it.

So I guess DFGT then. Are there any other within that price that is worth it?

RGT works with PS3 and GT5! This is based on personal experience. Check Thrustmaster's homepage, to see which PS3-games work.

However the DFGT is the better choice! It is fully compatible with everything. Also it is reliable and performs very good, from what I've heard in the forums.

Ok the one thing is that the RGT has a clutch. But DFGT does seem good though. So far i'm leaning towards the DFGT. But I'm still looking. Even at used ones maybe.

Get the DFGT unless you find a G27 on a special sale price. The DFGT is a very good wheel and some of the fastest players in GT5 use it.

If you are a casual player you probably won't use a clutch as it will be slower. To use a clutch for racing you have to master the heel toe shifting technique and would probably need a Frex or TH8RS shifter which would be outside your budget.

Short answer buy a DFGT unless you find a G27 on sale price!

Ok. I seen the G27 for $180 a few weeks ago on amazon. So the DFGT seems pretty good.

I didn't know that. I use clutch but I have never used heel toe so far.
