I've finally got around to buying myself a wheel, but after jumping in and having a play - i'm struggling to handle oversteer, and drifting is out of the question.

Using the DS3 I'm quite happy to throw RWD cars around and drift - but this is my first experience of a "proper" wheel.

I know that I can customise the wheels' internal settings and perhaps that is where I need to go, but I am really looking for some advice (and example setup if that is the case?

What I'm finding is that due to the 900 degree rotation I just can't get enough lock on to catch the oversteer, or if it's gone too far - once it grips, I cannot unwind the lock and apply opposite in the other direction quickly enough and end up just spinning out.

Grateful for any information received.

Cheers!

Have you looked in the wheel thread section ?there will be loads of Qand A's there (not knocking you just trying to help you)

Maybe I'm missing something as well but I gave up trying to drift with the DFGT and went with the controller for that. No way I can make the kind of adjustments needed for drifting with a 900 degree wheel and I don't believe that's adjustable with the DFGT.
