Hey there people, I was wondering before I made my purchase, Can the wheel clamp down on this desk, so then I thought I would come here and ask, Here is the pic I took...

I was wondering if I could clamp it with the glass and the bar below it? maybe just the glass... Anyways give me some feedback. Thanks alot :)

probably not with both the layers, but it would fit onto the glass alone if you added a couple of books or some other sort of filler to the clamps.

I think it would, the clamps open wide enough. The problem is that it might slip. You could put some of that non slip plastic. I dont know what its called exactly but walmart has it in rolls of different colors(white,green,red..).

I don't think it will fit. I don't think the clamps will fit under the bar to reach the glass. If you try and clamp it to the bar, then the glass will break when you tighten the clamps.

Can you give us a sideyways shot of the desk? How far back does the bar go? How broad is it?

It'll attach to the keyboard tray fine, but it might be a bit wobbly. The force feedback is strong.

Its hard to judge from the pic at that angle. I would certainly recommend not clamping directly onto the glass, you'd really want a couple of thin but stiff pieces of wood between the top and bottom of the clamp and the glass to spread the load across the surface of the glass. Glass is strong but you don't want to apply too much pressure at one small point. IMO.

This is what you have to play with:
