DFP - DFGT and G25 width limit of the table

Hello, i plan on buying a wheel (most likely a DFGT) but i intend to lock it into a 7 cm width table. My question is, will the locking system allow to lock it into my 7cm width table?

Both, G25 and DFGT use two clamps on the sides of the wheel base as fastening system. At least on G25 the distance between the clamps is about 18.5 cms and the maximum clamp openning I measured is about 5 cms. Too much for your 7 cms table, sorry.

I am building a cockpit for GT5 launch myself. Does the shifter for the G25 open the same 5cm?

Yes the shifter has the same opening just a bit under 5cm.

I am building using 2 inch ABS pipe. As I understand it 2 inches is about 5 cm. Do you think the shifter will attach to that?
