My DFP has been playing up with the brake pedal over the last 2 days, Sorry to anyone i've hit(HSR):guilty:. Have pulled it apart and done repairs, works fine for a race or two then 'applies brakes' with no pedal pressed:bowdown:. Should I give up on the DFP and get a G25 or are my probs fixable? Worried 'cause can't afford G25 for about a month- too long for no GT5- no way am i using the six-axis. Any advise?:nervous: ps: (another site) said something about cleaning "pots" Hopeful this shouldn;t cost too much or be to hard to do-still worried abbout time away from GT.

You should be able to find some tutorials on how to fix the potentiometers inside of the DFP pedals (google should help). Since this is the problem most likely.

You could also look for a cheap DFP on ebay for example, then you'd have some spare pedals. The upgrade to the G25 would be best tho, if you can afford it. The pedals from the G25 are really good, and the wheel is much better than the DFP aswell.

Thanks jibber, will search on repairs, not hopeful on results - hey- a pickup and "whack" and a verbal works...temporarily. Some long and lonley nites dreaming of my G25. Thanks for the info-see you GT5!

Cheers for the link, will study when I get home from work. Appreciate your time. Eventually will get a G25 though, just hope the DFP lasts til that time. Thanks again.

Does anyone have some kind of a list of racing wheels? I would like to compare each and then make my decision which one to buy. The problem is I don't know every option I have I just know the Logitech wheels.. What are the others?

EDIT

Opps I just found the sticky thread ...thanks

Problem with driving force pro! When setting still and pressing the brake pedal, it's like
power braking! In other words it is acting like a gas pedal! I have used the wheel on GT3
and GT4 with know problems.
