Alright, so, first of: Why isn't there already a thread about it? :D

But, anyways:

I assume most of you know the Diablo franchise and I guess that a lot of you actually played Diablo I or II back in the day. Now, the release for Diablo III seems to be scheduled for 2012 and since I've just recently received my invite to the Diablo III Beta, I had an urge to create this thread, just to find out who else is interested in the game.

After playing the beta for a while, it seems like my expectations are going to come true and it is going to be the next big thing for me, a game that will consume countless hours and probably keep me entertained for years, much like its predecessor did. And unlike most other games have done in a long, long while.

So, who's with me on this? Or am i the only one looking forward to Diablo III? :dopey:

Well i do care, its just that i can run it on this P.O.S! So what i try to do is not get hyped up with everyone else haha. Alot of my friends are already buying new rigs for it, but its just not practical for me to do right now :(

Well, Blizzard games are traditionally easy on the hardware, and D3 should be no different. You shouldn't need a high-end rig for that game ;)

Trust me on this, my computer is already filled up with so much stuff that i know it wouldnt run good on here haha. Its actually my GF's computer and she has it packed up with pictures and programs for photography and what not. Plus it goes slow when i open up programs like Lightroom haha.

I've been thinking about getting a laptop soon. Whats the minimum requirements for D3?

I liked the concept and ideas of Diablo I and II but the clicky-clicky gameplay was just boring. If it's more engaging this time around I could see myself getting into it.

The minimum requirements are along the lines if a 3 GHz single core CPU and a Gefore 7800 (or similar) graphics card, as well as 1.5 GB of RAM. Not much, really.

I've got a laptop with a 3 GHz Core2Duo, a Geforce GTX260 1GB and 6 GB RAM and the Beta was running on high to very high graphics, so you really don't need more unless, of course, you want max settings at all times.

It's not going to change all that much, but they've created hotkeys to have more different abilities on tap, so to speak. Judging by the beta, I'd say that the game feels more involving than before.

The open beta weekend is over unfortunately, but I suppose that there'll be a lot of reviews to judge it by very, very soon.
