klandrader asked me nicely for settings to the Nomad Diablo, so I thought I'd give all my new friends at GTP something to play with :D

Enjoy, and remember:
If your not leading, you need bigger balls :Poke:

This car is fast and powerful, with it’s mid-engine design and high hp, it can easily get away from you if your not careful. Not a good car for trail braking, get your braking done early, then ease back into the power after turn in. Be especially careful when running it full power, 950+hp, as it can show you where you came from in a big hurry. Play nice and be gentle, and she’ll show you a good time.

*Good all around ratio, increase if running a track with a big straight.
**increase to 2 or 3 if you have problems with power oversteer

well first off secretghost you have to have a sharkport to download the diablo save off the net and it is for ntsc

gtjem liked the settings i noticed that they are all real close to the stock ones though i cant get it to go over the 242 mph mark no matter what gearing i try in it but here ill post what i have for this car

im still not sure on how to fine tune the lsd maybe you can help :)

Those are general settings, designed to work well on all tracks, but remember that the gear ratios are going to change, espec. at the test track. (I haven't started on track specific setings, can you imagine how long a list that would be? :banghead: )

To set the gears, test run the car, if it hits the limiter, increase the auto setting a notch or two(don't bother with the individual gears, they will change when you change the auto setting).
make sure to add about 3 extra steps on test track when running a race, or you'll hit the limiter while drafting.

Also remember that the Diablo is mid-engined, which means the rear springs should always be firmer than the front.(basic law of physics)

Hope this helps, I almost forgot, take all the downforce off for running test track, you don't need it, and it will slow your top speed
