Did anyone had any problems with the voucher of the Chrome-line cars or Stealthcars?

I'm the happy owner of a Signature Edition, and wanted to have the bonus cars, but neither of the 2 vouchers i received seem to be working, coudn't find anything with my PS3 on the USB-key..., and on the pc i could only find a short interview of Bernd Maylander in the Mercedes Museum...

Did anybody else had a similar problem?
 
Put the USB into your computer and check if there are any files on it?

If nothing still works, just go back to where you bought it, they should be able to sort it out for you
 
The DLC might not be available till launch. People who bought the Collectors edition of Forza 3 had the same issue when that came out and they had copies before the official launch date.

Nope, there are a lot of elements of the game closed-off until release day. We wouldn't want the thieves and lucky people to get all the goodies first would we?! ;)
 
Does anyone know if the codes in box will be region locked.

Simply put, ive just moved to Hong Kong, but still using my UK PSN account with my UK card (for any future DLC). Hence why i have imported the game from the UK.
However the only option was to get the standard. So if i wanted to get the collectors edition out here, could i use the codes that came with that on my UK PSN account?

You'll be fine. I am in the US and use my UK account occasionally.

Nope i dont think so, am 99% sure, you'll have to create a HK account and download them through there, if they came with the UK account then you will have to DL through there. Check the region DLC thread, I think thats the only thing in GT5 thats locked to regions. Hope that helps :)

Yes, as long as you have a UK account on the machine you'll be able to use UK DLC and it will be made available to any other accounts you have on the machine.
 
Thanks for the help, wont be able to do it then, as the collectors edition will be purchased in hong kong. I only have the standard from the uk with no DLC codes :(.

I could make a HK PSN as i have all the relevant cards/credit cards, but for the sake of having everything organised im gona keep my uk psn account going.

You could make the HK account, use the codes, and keep using your UK account. Just download it and then, to make sure, install it while logged on to your UK account. You'd have to switch to the HK version of the game though since the DLC isn't cross region.
 
Wow, my problem with the chrome-line voucher wasn't like yours at all!

So, you know how the redeem code was on this piece of paper with a sticker covering the code itself? Well, when I went to peel the sticker off to reveal the code, it tore off a layer of the paper along with the code itself!

I literally had to put the "sticker" portion under a kettle to steam it. I then peeled the wet paper from the sticker with a pocket knife to be able to read the missing portion of the DLC code.
 
Perhaps because the voucher for the Chrome Line cars in North America is a scratch-off, not peel off? Reading the instructions helps.
 
My problem is of a related though slightly different nature... I redeemed my Chromeline / Stealth codes with no problem but have no code at all for the SLS competition :-(. I gather it was supposed to be inside the wallet but I had nothing in mine.

Bit worried that I can't prove to Game/Sony that I haven't just passed on or sold the code to someone else :-/
