Did Fanatec drop the GT2 Kit (wheels+CSP)?

iirc, the GT2 kit (wheel + clubport pedals) used to be listed for $$500.00USD, but I no longer see this option at the USA gameshop.

Has Fanatec discontinued selling the GT2 kit (wheel+clubsport pedals) together for $500.00USD? I no longer see it listed at the USA gameshop.

That means the price is $550.00USD for the wheel+clubsport pedals and closer to the Thrustmaster T500RS cost.

Does Fanatec plan to reintroduce the GT2 kit?
 
As I understand it, the plan is the CSP bundles for the GT3RSv2 and the GT2 will come back when Fanatec catches up on demand... so I wouldn't expect anything before May, since that's when they state GT2's are backordered until.
 
My guess they did this so people wouldn't expect to receive the wheel,shifter and CSP at the same time. The way is it now, you could receive one part next month than another part a month or two later. Even Logitech seems to be having trouble keeping up with the demand for wheels caused by Gt5 release except they package (ship) everything together.

There must a lot of backorders for the GT2. The Fanatec site says that all new orders for the GT2 will not be shipped out until May!

Yeah, new Stig. Seems faster than Ben. Looks like it was all much ado about nothing, since changes of no are basically what happened and everyone got lots of attention... I smell work!

Anyways, back to the topic at hand... Clubsport bundles. Still can't get 'em. 👎

yes, a shame about Fanatec being overwhelmed by orders. I have beeen swinging like a pendulum between the GT2 kit and the Thrustmaster T500RS. AFter this latest blow on the GT2 kits not being available until May 2011 I am now leaning towards the T500RS.

Do you need the XBOX compatibility? If not, why waste the dough on the GT2, just get a GT3RSv2... although I'll admit, I love the looks of the T500 (except the "chrome", why not use brushed metal TM??) and I bet Thrustmaster will really bring the heat with the T500 shifter.
