Did GT5 get the Audi R10 wrong?

Actually changing engines will make F1 a bit more interesting, seeing as they already squeezed a lot of potential out of V8s and V10.

I would like to see what they can do with a turbo four. Why not turbo V6s?

Right. Regardless of the outcome, it will be interesting to see what constructors do if this actually passes.

In real life the car had a 5 speed gearbox, but in the game it has 6. There is also flames popping out of the exhausts in the game. I thought diesels don't pop flames out of exhausts. Then again, the last time I saw footage of the R10 in real life was two years ago. Did Audi change things up?

Sorry if it's a dumb question.

Edit: The Peugeot also spits out flames.

Diesels can shoot flames. I've seen it at the end of a pull, in tractor pulling.

I don't think tractor pulling diesels are direct injection, you could therefore have some flames on overrun. Any modern racing diesel is a direct injection and shouldn't have any flames coming out of it. The same should go for a direct injection gasoline engine as well...

Depends on the engine and what you are doing to it. Direct injection engine or indirect. Garrett GT12 & GT15 are popular in the 60-75 cube 3 cylinders. Mitsubishi TD02 twin scroll works well and is a whole different approach.

Ebay or any good Diesel Service company sells them.
