Did I just unlock the M3 GT2 Base Model?

I did a lap on the Ring with the M3 GT (BMW Motorsport) '11 and now I have this GT2 Base Model in the BMW' dealership. Im pretty sure I havent seen this one! Also, it seems like the original M3 GT is missing the number ''2'' as in GT2? The description of these cars are the same, and they match up pretty good.. At first I thought it was a new car I just unlocked.. (To be honest I must have read about it somewhere sometime so I just thought I would get a trophy wich I didnt, no kind of notification about this ''new'' car in the dealership too wich is kinda bad if I really just unlocked it)

You unlock it after you drive it in Arcade mode.

There was a thread about this a while back that I read, either method unlocks it.
