80k!!?? You could've gotten 8 Hyundai Accents with that! (If you paid with cash). The most epic thing is that thats a combined HP of 808 HP!

Yes, yes and yes. The new 5-series is a WAYYYY nicer car than the X3, is better looking, and a flappy paddle gearbox would be understandable in a high-spec model.

Umm... That would only be 8 Hyundai Accents. Going by your math then each car would of cost $1K with cash(you said "If you paid with cash" and that's insanely cheap even if a car dealer was going out of business) while the video title says $9,999 per car.

FIXED. Also, it was a cash only offer. I remember last year, the Hyundai of Mississauga had ads EVERYWHERE with a Punjabi dude with a black turban holding a basketball offering the Accents for $9,999 cash. Only if I had a camera..

It's not a waste of money if she actually uses everything in the car. Anything she never does use is money wasted. Simple as. ;)

But the list of things she bought with it probably means that quite a bit of it will be wasted. And she should have gotten a 335d Touring.
 
If she were smarter, she would go for an X5. If she wants the space, than the X3 is simply a waste in that category.

BMW's are overpriced though.

And flappy paddles are stupid on an X3.

probably, but saying that if everyone had the same view there wouldnt be any used cars to buy...!

and the X3 is just another of those models that is ugly and massively overpriced, just like the X6...which is even more of a waste.
 
Ah, but the X6:

1. Actually has elbow and legroom.

2. Doesn't ride like a skateboard.

Is it ludicrously impractical? Definitely.

Is it ludicrously fun? Definitely so.
 
But the X6 is hideous and make the owner look like a prat. Even the nicest person in the world can't get away with driving one. It just looks too arrogant.

Question: Why choose an X6?

Answer: Because I want a fast car, but not as fast as a saloon. Also, it must be 4WD, but not be able to go off road. It must be big, ugly and imposing. It must be practical but not an estate. I want handling at the expense of comfort, but it must weigh a tonne. But above all, it must cost a LOT of money to buy and run, but not really be any better than anything else I could choose.
