Again, I have not read nor seen any post about things PD fixed or "corrected"
in version 2.07. Last week I made a post about the Citroën Xsara VTR '03 and how it's paintable now via version 2.07. I'm just waiting to they make the change to other non race cars like the Viper GTS 99

But did you also know....

1. ALL RM (Racing Modified) cars has been sought of renamed. In the previous version prior to 2.07, the Racing Modified cars name (RM) was/wasn't in the title. Now, if you but a new Corvette ZR1 or Corvette Z06 AND Race Modify it, it will be at the bottom of your garage list with the complete title. (if you sort by "MAKE" like I do) Also, if you go back to the NCD and go to Chevy. It will appear as if you didn't purchase these cars already. Making the regular models separate from the Race Modified version.

So all in all. The number of cars in the game sought of increases now.

2. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR RM '05 Ride Height.
When we first 1st got GT5, The ride height on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR RM '05 left a huge gap in between the wheels an the body.
I hated the way it looked, but I figure it was because it's an off-road car.
NOT ANYMORE!!!!! Again. Buy a new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR 05 and RM it. Lower the suspension to what you choose and you will see the difference. It can be lowered to the ground. Well almost. But no more of that
huge gap.

So, Keep the RM's cars you have and buy a new one and RM it to see the difference in your garage. No wonder PD has been giving out RM cars won
at Seasonal Events......It may be me and my eyes, but the new RM looks tiny bit cleaner as far as the lines of the car goes.

3. Lexus IS F RM '07 paint able original Rims. This has always been so, but I don't know how many of you are aware of it.

Happy Re Race Modifying.........

Yep, PD will do anything to boost car numbers.

sort, not sought BTW.

You Could paint the original RM rims of every Race Modified car.

I didn't know about the Citroen Xsara bit, thanks for the heads up 👍

They change the exhaust in version 1.09 too I think.
Before 2.00 it was a stock exhaust, at least for the ZR1 Vette.
And yes, like Mralex said, you can paint any stock wheel from RM cars.

The names of the RM cars were changed before 2.07. A Corvette Z06 and a ZR1 that I purchased and RM'd on October 3, 2011 have the new names. This date was after the 2.01 update. I believe the names were probably changed in 2.00.

Cool thanks for the heads up. It's been a little while since I've been on now I've got a good reason!!!

Something says my Lotus still doesn't have 'RM' while in the garage list... I believe it does once you select the car though. Not on the PS3 right at the moment to check, but I have two Elise 111R's and I'm certain they are both listed as 'Elise 111R'. One is modded, the other not. But I do know that in races where normal road cars are required, both appear in the garage as being acceptable, but it will actually deny the use of the RM'd version.

Again, not specific to 2.07 but certainly something that seems to have been overlooked.

As far as I know, these changes were made a couple of updates ago. The main thing fixed in 2.07 was SSRX's pit entry.

Your Elise RM cars were purchased before the update that included the name change and do not show RM in the garage list just as you stated. The update does not change the name of those existing cars. The name change only applies to new RM cars purchased after the update.

Indeed they were, one of the first couple of cars I bought in game. It seems a bit asinine to me, but I'll live with it I suppose. Thanks for the clear up though
