Okay so I'm not sure if this has been posted before because I've tried searching the forum and couldn't find it.

Did you know that you can fast forward the black screen after purchasing a car by spamming the X/O button on your controller? Or is this old news?:nervous:

By the way I'm on v1.09.

Expect it patched now it's out there lol.
 
I think that this is old news, for me anyway.
 
Does this really work? I tried mashing the X and O buttons like the OP said, but no major differences were noticed.

You don't have to press both at the same time. Just X or O whichever you want to press. It saves about 2 seconds of your time. By the way I did this on 1.09. I'm not sure about 1.08 or earlier versions.

Yes, it works.

It doesn't make a big difference but can be useful when buying many cars or opening many tickets at once.
 
I managed to get it working. This is great for buying lots of cars quicker.

Cool! I´m going to try that after I get a new PS3 and start GT5 all over, ´cause my old PS3 YLODed last week!! *false grin on my face*
 
I'll have to try this. Maybe I can spare myself at least some of the heaps of time the game likes to waste on repetitive animations that add nothing positive to my GT5 experience. Now if only I could skip the oil change animation... or having to do them in the first place.

This also works for purchasing performance upgrades to your car. You'll get through the pop-ups quicker by pressing the X button rapidly.
