Diferences between PS4 and Xbox one ( Help)

Hi.

I got the PS 4 version of Assetto corsa and enjoy it a lot.

But I noticed that on some cars I am not able to change tire compunds.

I am trying to gold the " Down the Hatch " Challenge on Brands hatch with the Ford Escort RS1600

But It seems like insanely imposibel for me with the tires that are fitted standard.

So I tryed everything I Could to change them, but it seems the option is just not there in the PS 4 version.

I found a video where a guy he seems to be able to change the tire compund on his Xbox.



But really I am kinda sceptical if the two Console versions are that diferent ?

I am on the edge to buy the Xbox version if it really is posibel to change tires on the Xbox.

Just I would like to be 100 % sure can someone confirm if they can change the ford Esort RS1600 tires on the Xbox version ?

I have no issue with changing tyres on any car in AC on the PS4.

Are you running version 1.22 ?

I tryed to check for a game update, but game says its the latest version. So I dont think its that.

I do how ever noticed in the controller screen it says version 1.12.

Here I am inside the Special event. Down the Hatch in the menu selected tire change. It says press R2 / L2, but nothing happens when i do.

Pressing the arrows or any other buttons on the G29 dont work eather. I have also tryed to use a controller. Still same result, I cant change the tyres in this event.

I also tryed to see if I could change them in practise mode. But still the same. I cant change those tyres no matter what I do.



Simply dont understand it :-(

Highlight the tyre option, press X to select it and you should then get the tyre selection screen (this is from memory as I'm at work right now).

Yes this is what I am doing.

Highligt the Tyre option by pressing X. But as I tryed to show in my video I cant select any other tyres but the Vintage GT70 wich are already selected.

It seems those are the only ones aviable for me. Wich I dont understand when I saw the guy changing them on his Xbox, and also If you are able to change them, than it is really odd.

For example the Special event: Placebo effect McLaren 650 on Nurburgring I can change the tyres no problem. Just some cars there are no other tyres aviable other than the defaults.

Odd, I suspect its a bug/glitch left in place then. AC was never the most finished product on console unfortunately.

Yeah proberly a bug.

Kinda anoying. I was sorta wanting to try platinium this game. But I gues it is even now more imposibel than it already was.

Anyhow I may just go ahead and buy it on PC since I like the game a lot.

Some cars do only have one type of tyre, even on PC. For the Escort it's called "Vintage GT70", same as PS4, which looks like a slick.

I haven't really tried Down the Hatch yet. I think all of the hotlap events are just about possible, but some are much, much harder than others!
