ive got the stupid PAL version so everything is either called polypony 2 or 1 poly 2 is turbo and the older looking model and poly 1 is the newer and its NA. So could some one PLEASE:) get a list of NTSC f1 cars and their colours listed next to them. so i and other PAL users no wat is the fastest color to get their probably all the same but atleast i will no that for sure. BTW if this has already been posted im sorry i have limited time on the net and a very slow 56k modem:D :D :D :D

Well, I have heard that Polyphony 1 has a raised front nose. Is that true? Because none of the North American F1's have a raised nose.

Depending on the power, it is probably just like the F094/S-H or the F090/S.

The Polyphony 2...what does it look like? Raised nose, is the cockpit positioned very far forward on the car etc.

the Polyphony 2 is our F090S. Polyphony 1 is the 1995 Benetton, if my memory serves me right.

somehow i wish i could get the PAL version... i hate the F1s in GT3.

I dont think that is right. The f090/s is NA, not turbo. It is basically a 94/s-h with less power. Im not sure about the polyphony 1. I would guess though that it would be similar to one of the cars from the ntsc version. in that case it is most likely it is the 94s or h.

Tell me what both cars look like and the power for each and we can probably figure this out.

I think the Polyphony 001 corresponds to the F094. My 001 has a V10 NA engine and 813bhp with 1000 miles on it. It has a high narrow and pointed nose - but doesn't look exactly like any '94 F1 car to me. I would imagine the performance coding of the F094 and the 001 are identical.

My Polyphony 002 has 829 bhp as is new and is a V6 turbo. I'm certain this is the same as the F688 - it also looks identical to the 1988 McLaren that won 15/16 GPs that year. Again I believe the performance of the 002 and F688 are the same.

And meeekael, I really dont think the colour scheme makes a lot of difference to the perfomance of the car - unless it's so ugly it puts you off your driving.

it's rather the F688/S, my mistake. except the P002 has different front and rear wings.

The Poly 001 looks like an Arrows f1 or something circa 94, I dont think there are any f1 cars after 94 maybe because the FIA or whoever sold the rights to the car designs to a.n. other for the f1 computer games....

dont think I explained this very well but anyways in PAl ploypony 1 has got a high nose and polypony 2 has got a low nose. In my version F1 cars are only called 1 or 2 not 3,4,5,and 6.
sweet as nice work so far:D

Those pictures are cool next to each other...nicely done. Notice the roll bar is different and the NTSC version has a # on it. I noticed that the 687's, 688's, and 090's all have numbers, but the 686's don't.

That Polophony 002 is the 686 with the 688's paint job (US version).

The 094's are more like todays F1 cars with the droop nose...

I would love to see someone post all their shots of the different F1 cars (color and body style) so I can see how many I'm missing.

I currently have:
686/m: 4 color schemes
687/s: 4 color schemes
688/s: 3 color schemes :irked:
090/s: 5 color schemes
094/s: 5 color schemes
094/h: 3 color schemes

I know I'm missing one wild electric blue 090/s i believe because I've raced against it. lol

That's the only one I've seen in racing that I don't have. :irked:

dont worry any more aye the cars are completely different in each version the only thing slightly the smae is the colours.....
