Whats the difference between them |Skyline GT-R M-Spec NÛr (R34) // Skyline GT-R V-Spec II NÛr (R34) | weight, BHP and so on. Who's the better one fully modded? whit do u think?

/thx Regards Cel

See what heppens when you search. Posted a month ago and yet no replys, so I'll make it my own.

Since you cant buy anything in GT4 without it saving on you, Naturaly I dont feel like blowing my cash just to figure out which five skylines I want to sell off at one quarter of what I just paid for them. So my question goes out to anyone who has one of these cars in their garage in stock form. What are the garage values for these cars? How much horse power and torque do they produce, and at what rpm? Basicaly everything else can be found out at the purchase screen, so power and torque at rpm is what I'm mostly interested in. specificaly these models:

Skyline GT-R V-spec II
Skyline GT-R M-spec
Skyline GT-R V-spec II nur
Skyline GT-R M-spec nur

I know the regular GT-R's are inferior and I despise the N1's so I dont really care about those, but feel free to post data about them, as well as any subjective info you might have, as in how they handel and... stuf.

There's probably not that much difference between all of them. Small things like carbon fibre bonnet, slightly better brakes (probably not noticeable), leather seats (or something simialr) and so on.

Dam, that took a LOOOONG time before this came up. I was just about to buy one and wanted to ask what other experiences some of u had whit them. Whould still be nice to know, but that was like my first car i wanted to buy, And i bought it also. So now i'ts not that important ;) i'm near 90% of the game and hen it was like below 20% (i think) anyway i bought the Skyline GT-R M-Spec NÛr (R34) and it owned!

the nur edition was made to celebrate the last 1000 or so r34 gtrs to be made due to japan updating its emissions regulations. the s15 silvia calle dit quits too. at the same time mazda made the spirit r rx7 to say farewell. toyota killed the supra too, but had nothing special for it. nur editons have n1 spec engine and brakes. meaning ceramic turbos, reinforced block and so forth. m spec is the "luxury" tuned gtr with leather wrapped recaros and adaptive suspension. i think a few other amenities too. n1 is your factory offered ready to race privateer car. kinda like the lancer evo rs grade.

personally, i prefer the victory specification II nurburgring in millenium jade.

Skyline GT-R V-spec II nur is the best :)

even better than the GTR vspec II N1

there was a thread about this already.

search the boards.

Not quite correct. The Nur has N1 turbos which are actually NOT ceramic, the rest of the GT-Rs are ceramic however. Standard BNR32/BCNR33 Skyline Ceramic turbos will run upto about 1.0 bar before the glue that bonds the turbine wheel to the centreshaft comes unstuck and the wheel drops off.

BNR34 ceramics will sustain 1.15 bar peak, but due to the size of the wastegate port they often suffer over-boost issues at high rpm when uprated exhausts are fitted (talking in real life here, not in game). The N1 turbos are very similar to HKS GT-SS turbines, and will run upto around 1.5 bar, but they give their best at the sweet-spot found at about 1.4, boost drops at high RPM at pressures much above this as they are not particularly big turbos. N1's and GT-SS's will normally give about 550 BHP flywheel (EU standard DIN 70020 correction, USA correction in SAE is just under 600 BHP) on an RB26.

As for the suspension, its not "adaptive", it merely has "ripple-control" dampers that offer faster reaction and response than a conventional damper.

This is all from first hand experience. Hope it clears up any confusion, how accurately PD set the cars in game is anyones bet.

Wow, i just read the other thread, it's very impressive. The V-Spec II has better suspension than the M-Spec Nur.

This is it. I dug it up from page 1300 with the search function. It was posted a month ago. The creator of the other thread is the one who should have searched.

thats what pisses me off. I made a great topic to find out what the differences in all these cars and the RX7's, but the moderators didn't let it through. Then this comes up.

But to add some information. When the Vspec option gets added the car gets better AWD differentials that are electronically controlled as opposed to the standard GT-R mode. The Mspec car is a Skyline that has had is suspension redone. The head of the Skyline GT-R R34 project was replaced and the new guy didn't like how twitchy and tailhappy the R34 GT-R was, so he got a 911 Carrera4 and tuned the GT-R's suspension to be softer but more user friendly and better handling.. less race car like. The Nur models are cars who's suspension was tuned and perfected on the Nurburging.
As far as like Vspec II is concerned.. I know the Vspec II adds a functional NACA duct on the hood and other aerodynamic enhancements.

V-Specs have what is called the "A-LSD", its an electronic left/right torque splitting rear diff, as opposed to a non-V diff which is a plain plate-type differential. The front diff remains unmodified. In reality, the non-V's are actually better for drag work... And the NACA ducted bonnet on the V-SpecII is full twin-layer carbon. Black cloth interior (instead of the usual dour grey) was also available on the V-SpecII.

That makes sense about the non-Vspec cars being better for drag racing. I would think the non-electronics would be more reliable in those greater horsepower situations, plus you wouldn't have the extra weight of all the extra wiring and devices for manipulating the diffs.

I didn't know the NACA duct was on a carbon fiber hood. I love the look of it. I've been tryign to find a NACA duct that I could add to my 300ZX Turbo. Its a nice touch even if it wouldn't help do anything special with my application.

what about the Carbon R? does that look badass or what? im surprised no one has mentioned that. maybe nobody has seen it? its in the tuning car town, ah, i forgot what its called.

Hello everyone, I decided to join the forums after seeing this thread. Anyway....

I have in my garage:

Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nur (R34) '02
Skyline GT-R M-spec Nur (R34) '02
Skyline GT-R V-spec II N1 (R34) '00

I bought them fairly early in the game for some reason I can't remember right now. All are fully tuned. I'll list off the specs as they appear in my garage, when you press x to view the car. I just gave all three an oil change to make the measurements fair. And for the sake of preventing some needless typing, I'm going to use abbreviations.

Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nur (R34) '02 - VNUR
Skyline GT-R M-spec Nur (R34) '02 - MNUR
Skyline GT-R V-spec II N1 (R34) '00 - N1

Horsepower
VNUR- 899 HP/6800 rpms
MNUR - 855 HP/6800 rpms (This may be a typo my TV sucks)
N1 - 792 HP/6800 rpms

Torque
VNUR - 699.49 lb-ft/4400 rpms
MNUR - 676.7 lb-ft/4400 rpms
N1 - 628.9 lb-ft/ 4400 rpms

Weight
VNUR - 1294 kg
MNUR - 1311 kg
N1 - 1286 kg

Power to Weight Ratio
VNUR - 1.420
MNUR - 1.495
N1 - 1.602

So basically, based on raw statistics, the VNUR is at the top of the Skyline heap, with the MNUR running a close second and the N1 a little farther behind in third. I can't really comment on handling differences because I haven't driven them that much at all.

Hope that helps
