different % completion for races

Anyone else notice a mad difference between the % amount you get towards total completion for arcade and gran tourismo modes.

I was sittting nicely on about 50% - getting about 0.2% per win I think in gt and then did ten races in arcade and now I'm around 58% - sweet!!

why the difference?
 
The difference is because you're probably near to completing the simulation mode. You get % towards completion by doing Arcade Mode, so you will have been completing new areas.
