Quick question..

Some of you boys are talking some heavy figures for your cash reserves. I was wondering if there is a difference between PAL and NTSC Credit values.

Okay its not the most interesting question ever, but I'm curious.

Someone post the value of any untuned car and the prize money for any race in the US version and I'll compare when I get a chance.

Cheers

hmmm this is a good question, i wouldn't see why they would do such a thing... but hey money holds different value in different areas

I know the Japanese version has different Credit value to the PAL (UK) version, from screenshots in mags I have worked out you need to divide by 100 (an oil change costs 25,000 in Japanese version and 250 in the PAL (UK))

On the same note the had a picture of the Toyota Sprinter Trueno heap of s**t u win for the Amateur FR challenge with a value of 1,250,000 Cr:!:

I'll see if I can get the picture up at some point:)

The Japanese version has a high valuing system as the Japanese Yen always runs in high figures. Likewise, to a Turk, the PAL valuing system would be laughable; a RUF 3400 for the less than half the number of credits as bread in Lira.

But I doubt they would change it between the US and European versions.
