Different kind of meet...interest check. (UK, Buckinghamshire)

Ok, i have seen karting days being arranged, lan meets etc, but i havn't seen much else. So i have come up with an idea, at the moment it will only be an interest check and ideas thread but it will be a local gathering in the High Wycombe area.

What i had in mind, was the first ever GTP football match! 22 members would be ideal but if we cant get enough people together then a 5/6/7/8 a side will be good. i was thinking:

5 a side in the morning/midday, break for lunch (pub, cafe or something) then 1 or 2 matches in the afternoon, perhaps with a swaparound of teams. This is only an early idea and can be changed or modified so just post some intrest and ideas and maybe we can get something together.

8 to 10 hours of driving for a 5 a side match is a bit much, lovely idea (be sure to take pics if you arrange it succesfully) but it's too far south for me. I play 5 a side regular anyway. Besides I'd probably say I'd love to go but be too busy to anyway.
 
14 hours of driving just to run about like an eejit and have a heart attack? No thanks. :dopey:

Actually, it'll only be 7 hous of driving, 'cos I wouldn't be driving home after my heart attack! It's still no, though.
 
Only half an hour for me, so I might be interested. I do however get out of breath when walking up stairs!

Unless theres already goals up at the place im intending the match to be.
