Different Prize cars in US/UK/EUROPE version!!s

I won a Polyphony 001 F1 race car at the route 246 100 laps endurance race... i previous looked at the prizelists posted here on this board, but i did not see this car...

I also got the Gran Turismo ultimate Racers Guide along with a PSW magazine, and they claim to list every single car, but the I won isnt there.....

I'm playing in Denmark, and i dont know how different the us-uk whutever versions of the game is...

What version am i playing????,,, the UK-version?

ps. i also saw the diablo in the magazine, does anybody know how to get it????

Diablo in the Japanese version only.

There is no Diablo in the american version.

I wonder just how many people have asked about that car?  That might be an interesting number to research!? :smile:

No problem dude, that is usually the first question asked by new members, nothin wrong with wanting to know.
 
i got that guide as well. when they wrote that they were playing the Japanese version. you are probably playing the pal version. every version is different. the Japanese version has the diablo. the american version has about 6 f1 cars and the pal (uk) version has 2 f1 cars (polyphony001, polyphony002) one question i have got is why can't all versions have the same content. i know why the diablo was took out but why doesn't the pal version get 6 f1 cars and a 60hz mode?

a way to keep it all the same
start off with the Japanese version (60hz)
translate to english for american version (60hz)
and convert to 50ht for pal release.

it takes longer if you modify the game (tracks, cars) and change it to 50hz than to just change to 50hz. I think i would speak for most uk people here saying why don't you add a 60hz option for a faster smoother game?

There is no such thing as a UK version.

There is: 1) Japanese Version 2) US Version 3) EUROPEAN Version.

Also, UK happens to be part of Europe in case you don't that.

In the EUROPEAN version, the F1 cars are called Polyphony while in the US version they are called F0-- and so on.
