There seem to be two very different quote styles being applied to quotes...

Hmm.. I noticed that. Could it be that doug does the tag differently? Cause I do the tags by

[ QUOTE=USERNAME] Blah [ /QUOTE]

But I think Doug copy and pasted he and then did the quote tages around it.

But no, thats can't be the reason.. Hmm.. Lemme think this one out...

Sage, do you have to have like 20px fonts. I'm sitting on 1280x1024 with like 9px fonts. :p

Seem's like Doug does his quote differently, his italic tag is on the actual post whereas the italic tag is supposed to be on the username(Originally Posted by Sage) and it seem's like he enlarges his quote tag by a larger font size. That's my guess.

It could be the old GTP quotes. Lemme try.....

The following is using the old method of such ( [quote ][i ][b ]Origonally posted by USERNAMED[/i ]This is what I said[/b ][/quote ])

Origonally posted by USERNAMED
This is what I said
And the following is the current method of such ([ quote=USERNAMED]This is what I said[/quote ])

USERNAMED
This is what I said

edit: that didn't seem to work, lemme try doing what he suggested (copy, paste, quote tags)

this is the text

I can't figure this one out, it's reverting back to the default quote template for all of his posts. I've submitted this to the vB developers, it could be a bug.

OK, I've got it...now let's see if I can explain this. If you post a quote in GTP Lite, it will show up for everyone inside that default template. This is because vB3 saves post's vB code as HTML when the post is saved (instead of converting it every time a post is displayed).

I've changed the template now for GTP Lite so that it's the same as the main style. I doubt that old quote's will be converted (since they are already saved wit he old HTML in the database), but this should prevent this inconsistency from appearing in the future.

I've noticed that the little border doesn't always show up around quotes. It's really weird.

That's just a browser issue, emad. What browser are you using?

IE6 on this computer. Haven't had access to my linux box for a couple weeks so I don't really have much else to play around with at the moment

Are you telling me that people could tell that I'm using GTP Lite?

You can't tell me that Sage isn't weird. Seriously.
