Digital R Steering Wheel Problem.

Hey guys,

I don't know where else to post this, so I came here.

I have a cheap (£10) Digital R Steering Wheel/Pedals and it took a bit of a knock yesterday. Since then, I have found that in GT5 (no other games to try it out on, sorry) when I turn the wheel ~90 degrees or ease off from having turned it to that extent, both the steering and the throttle will reset.

I'd be apexing a corner and bam! The car suddenly starts going straight ahead.

There isn't any rattling or the sound of anything loose inside the wheel.

The Digital R wheel is recognised as a controller in GT5, not as a steering wheel.

Any ideas to fix or troubleshoot the problem are appreciated.

The money you save is far from worth the hassle, either stick with the DS3 or upgrade.

Cheap wheels have been the bane of many peoples existence for a very long time, there's no quick tip to fix that.
If you want a wheel, splurge a bit; you won't regret it. If you can't afford to, stay on your control for the time being.
