Note that this is still the same version as before - the enhancements are coming purely from the hardware. A optimzed version for Series X / PS5 will most likely run and look far better.

Kinda glad the game isn't locked at 30fps now as there's a chance it would still run at 30 on next gen if it was. The unlocked frame rate might actually help performance on the new consoles.

Hope PS5 increases the FPS too. I can handle frame rate in the 50s, will probably run like pCARS did on console.

It runs dynamic 4k on Xbox One X, i'm not that surprised that it can't hit locked 60fps in those settings, this is really demanding game but it's obvious that is not optimized for Series X at all at this point. If they lower resolution about 1440p there shouldn't be any problems to hit locked 60fps, that would be the easiest thing to do.

I have just an Xbox One S, so the Series X will definitely be an improvement.
