Direct X 11 question.

So right now I play Crysis 2 with my GTX550Ti on 'very high' settings with high res textures on. I was thinking about downloading the DX11 pack as now I'm playing in DX9.

I'm getting around 35-50 fps now, so, how much of a performance hit will I take if I upgrade to DX11 and will it look noticeably better?

XP can not have DX10 or DX11.

Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.

Windows 7 comes with DX11.

Yeah I know but Crysis 2 was ported from consoles, so in order to play it in DX11 you have to download a patch, by default it will play in DX9.

Thing is, my internet is horrendously slow, so it will take like an hour to download the patch and I really can't be bothered to do it if it isn't worth it, that's why I made the thread.
