Is someone playing this on the PC ..

I have a vaucher to get some free team cars but am not able to log in on the site www.gamesforwindows.com

but in the game it self i am able to log in with the same user account and password .

someone any info on how to proceed ...

I'm curious if they built this game from the ground up for pc or if it's just a port. I'm looking for something a little more sim oriented than gt5. I already like the sound better.

GT5 is one of the most hardcore simulators out there. There's not really anything else that's "more sim-oriented" than it - and DIRT 3 certainly isn't a simulation game.

Well on the PC there's a plethora of options (sims), like iRacing (most current), rFactor (a real beast with mods like realfeel FFB, CTDP 2006, f1 historic, enduracers, etc), & GTR. I dont want to go off topic so I will point you towards the iRacing & rFactor threads here at the Console & PC section

Yes, GT5 is the most hardcore simulator with **** engine sounds, with 800 standard cars ( no cockpit view ) with 15 race modification car ( hahaha ), with BORING and stupid carrier mode and so on ... 👎

To the OP ... I got it to install by running the Games for Windows Marketplace application from the start menu. I used the same login for Live that I use in the game. I was easily able to DL and install from there.

I can only assume you are limiting this to a console discussion, as there are numerous PC sims that will blow GT5 away in realism and options. They just aren't as "polished" in most cases.
