Since DIRT 3 just got made free for PS+ owners on PS3 I thought it might be a good idea to run a little championship using it. The way it works is each month will be dedicated to each rally (5 Rallys in total) with a days rallying being submitted at the end of each week (usually 2 stages). As for cars, the entire WRC Pro class and some of the Open class, with cars from the S2000 class, are eligible for entry.

For each rally the times will be added up for each special stage and the fastest times will earn points at the end of each rally.

Points System:
1st: 20 Points
2nd: 18 Points
3rd: 15 Points
4th: 12 Points
5th: 10 Points
6th: 8 Points
7th: 6 Points
8th: 4 Points
9th: 2 Points
10th: 1 Point

Eligible Cars:
Abarth Grande Punto S2000 (280HP/1200KG)
Citroen C4 WRC (330HP/1230KG)
Ford Fiesta Open (330HP/1200KG)
Ford Fiesta RS WRC (320HP/1200KG)
Ford Focus RS WRC (330HP/1230KG)
Mini Countryman WRC (320HP/1200KG)
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X (330HP/1250KG)
Peugeot 207 S2000 (280HP/1200KG)
Subaru Impreza WRX STI N12 (325HP/1200KG)
Subaru Impreza WRX STI SRT USA (330HP/1250KG)

Rallies
There are 3 days of rallying, with a full rally taking place over 2 weeks (1 days rallying per week), which mostly comprise of 5 rally stages and a single rallycross stage per rally, but some rallies have 6 standard rally stages.

I'll be using the Subaru Impreza WRX STI SRT USA, with the #199 Travis Pastrana livery

The times for the first 2 stages are to be submitted by the 20th of this month.

I just want to clarify:

When you say Day 1 of Monte Carlo, that's the combined time of Baroque, Lacet Le Blanc, AND Col De Turini?

Yes, it's for the first 3 stages.

I can go for this. I only tried the game for like half an hour, and it feels super grippy. but hey, this might make me more into the game

I've done stuff like this for 3 other games, and I can assure you that it will give you a lasting enjoyment that offline vs AI and online vs random people can't do.

Dong something like this will encourage you to learn the game's mechanics to deeper level than you would have getting 1st place through casual play.

Monaco Day 2 is now live.

So I was able to set a time for Bois Noir and Route Des Anges, but I don't see a Casino Square under Monte Carlo.
I see a Col St Roch, Gorges de Piaon, and Sospel, but not Casino Square. Could you please verify this?

Casino Square is a Rallycross stage

Can I join week 2 or should I wait for week 3 and new rally?

Join whenever. these are fun little drop-in events you don't need full commitment too. It'd be nice to have more than just one opponent! :)

TYHis week will be a no go for me. moving to my new house this Saturday, and will spend half a week putting everything in oplace, hopefully i can go by then.
i raced a bit to relax online on dirt today, and while the game is fun, its kinda more acadi'ish than I expected. Still fun though

I don't know if I'm doing this right, because that Casino Square doesn't have the Open class, so I can't pick the Mini.

Finally finished moving to my new house, and today I got to start up the PS3 a bit. Expect me on the tables starting on Dec. 5th
