Codemasters have given us the opportunity to set up our own rally league where we can compete against each other, under a precise set of rules agreed by the competitors.
We can race at some of the various stages over the course of 2 weeks say. This is great because people will be able to fit a couple of stages in around their home schedule over the course of a couple of weeks, rather than racing on a set day at a set time. For example, the rally could take place over 16 stages, 8 in Greece and the other 8 in Monaco. Everyone would have 2 weeks to participate and post their times.
Not sure if they have changed it yet or not but last time I raced in a League there was no option to set the rules regarding upgrades, so some guys will and some won't have upgrades making it an uneven competition.

You can either set a hp limit or set the cars people have to use, but not both. So if you set a power limit people can use any car and if you set the car, people can have any power level.

Well I suppose the better idea would be to set a horse power limit, providing that you can remove the upgrades to your vehicle. Then competitors have to stick to a certain class.

Yeah you could set the power limit and then nominate eligible cars, only problem is people can use any car so maybe set it to be a private league. They might have changed it now anyway it's been months since I raced in a league.
You can count me in as well. I've been waiting patiently to start something like this when the GT6 track creator made its way around. I got sick of waiting and am looking to branch off to new adventures. I'm pretty busy with school but I'll help out as much as I can if needed.
Ok, Finally got it sorted and got an account going with RaceNet. I'll be working on a new thread for this. I am working on the OP now, so keep an eye out for the Tet Group Rally Event thread in this section.
