I don't know if this thread has been discussed before, I used the search button but couldn't find anything but "dirty players".

So, in the wake of the recent replays showing the dust kicking off the car on the mulsanne straight, the marbles outside the ideal line, the gravel moving when you go on it, are we getting closer to see dirty cars? I think that one of the most fascinating aspects of endurance races is the damage, the dirt that a car has after completing it. It shows the fatigue and the fight it has done. During the first months if I'm not wrong, some cars on the garage had a dirty livery covered in dust, which could only be washed away by changing the colour. But it's been a while since I haven't seen something like that.
I think it would be about time ti make cars look dirty, it's not realistic at all seeing a car after an 1 hour endurance that seems like it has just gotten out of the dealership. Of course, it would need GT Auto..

Has anyone noticed something related to this topic?

Yh I agree, it definitely is a much needed elements during endurance racing, one of the versions of the R18 has dirt, scratches and tyre marks stuck to it.

I have a dirty C9 in one of the recent posted pics - not sure how it got dirty - wonder if it was won in the daily and is a dirty version of the car.

Or perhaps it was made dirty in the editor.
