Disappearing Ghosts

Just in time for Halloween, hehe, this has happened multiple times. When I am improving my times and utilizing my fastest lap ghost I will get near/pass it the screen will flicker and the ghost will disappear. If I didn't save it, it will not load again. I never had this happen before 2.0 have you?
 
Yeh dude this has happened to me soooooo many times, unsure why. On the map it still shows the yellow marker to pinpoint the ghosts position but no actual ghost. On a few occasions though i have just carried on hot lapping and several laps later, just randomly, it'll appear back on the screen half way round a lap. It does seem more like a glitch than anything else as theres no explainable reason i can think of as to why it would just re-appear like that, hope this could get sorted though one of the updates we get.
 
Sorry, also meant to say that this has happened many times before and after the spec 2.0 update, pretty much ever since buying the game actually.

Stevti I know what your problem is. Not sure it's the same as Gix7Fifty's though.

I presume you're playing on DS3. If you go into the controller mapping the ghost car display on/off is mapped to 'Up'. So as you drive around you'll be hitting 'Up' now and again making the ghost flicker on and off. Just re-map it to another button (R3 or something).[/QUOTE

Good man! Thankyou for this! Yeh up until the last week or so i had been using the ds3, but havent noticed the problem since changing to a wheel, but at least i know now for the future. Thanks again dude :)
